Thursday June 27, 2024 – Presidential Debate

Brief update at 6:30pm on Thursday night. We are getting ready to watch the Presidential Debate. A bunch of interest amongst the inmate population. TV rooms #1 and #2 are the English speaking tv rooms and those tv rooms are like 1/3rd of the size of TV room #4 (TV room #3 holds mattresses and has no TV). TV room #4 is the Hispanic tv room, but my new cellie who just came from Tucson Penitentiary and is going to Allenwood Penitentiary is a huge Trump support and he brokered a deal with the Hispanics to let us watch the debate starting at 7:00pm in the Hispanic TV room. I already put in 3 chairs (one for me and 2 for my 2 white collar friends from New York) right next to my cellie’s chair in the Hispanic tv room. You have to love prison politics! Ok I am signing off, I will report back tomorrow with an entry about the debate viewing.
